If privileged I would’ve been cascading along the slopes of Ribe then tanning myself honey shade on the beaches of El Cabo San Juan. But I am not. So while bumming inside my room before my home-based gig, I listen to almost anything I can get hold of. Music has been a significant part of my life experiences and a long list of musicians have soundtracked my days. Radiohead is the greatest of all my DJs, I assert. When not having phones clasped near my ears, I usually ogle on literature mainly poetry and some prose. Back in college, I have written some decent volume of poetry that remain sitting on the shelf. No word yet when will they take their own life but I am pretty sure my heroes- Mark Strand, Anne Sexton, Sylvia Plath, J. Neil Garcia, WD Snodgrass- are not smiling knowing I let my work just consume shelf life to dust.
